Isleham 0 Brandon Lads under 7 10
Brandon got off to an excellent
start when Tommy Younge broke free of the Isleham
defence to slot the ball home to make the score 1-0 within 3
minutes. Hayden Edgecombe then pounced to score 3 quick
goals and put Brandon 4-0 ahead at the first break. Hayden
then added another with Lewis O'Malley playing a central role,
adding two more goals to make it 7-0. Lucas Kent and
Harris Khan both played well and were causing the Isleham
defence and attack problems!
After half time Brandon
had a re-shuffle and Owen Horn, Tommy Younge and Lucas
Kent went up front and Lewis O'Malley, Jack Slater
and Harris Khan played at the back, with Hayden now in
goal. Owen Horn managed
to break free up front and poke the ball past the
Isleham keeper to take the Brandon total to 8. Tommy
Younge then added a further 2 goals to round off another
excellent Brandon performance and the result ended up
Brandon Lads U7's 10 - Isleham U7's 0. The game was
played in excellent spirit and the Isleham crowd and parents
were superb - thanks!

Morley 1 Brandon Lads Under 7's 5
Morley entertained Brandon on a
sunny afternoon away at the Morley ground. Both teams
started well and the first ten minutes were very tight with
Lewis O'Malley making a couple of good saves in the
Brandon goal. Owen Horn defended well and made some
excellent passes up through the midfield. Brandon
managed to sneak ahead when Lucas Kent broke through the
Morley defence to slot home the first goal and put Brandon
1-0 ahead. A much improved Morley equalised quickly and
threatened the Brandon goal. Jack Slater and Tommy Younge
held up well at the back and some great passing set up
Lucas Kent and Hayden Edgecombe to make the score 3-1 at half
time. Tommy Younge was unlucky not to score but the Morley
goalkeeper was having an outstanding game. After
the break Brandon pushed forward and Lucas Kent, now in
goal made 2 super saves. In the last 10 minutes Morley
started to tire and Brandon managed to slot home another 2
goals (Lucas & Hayden) to make the final score Morley 1
- Brandon 5.
Two very impressive teams
that played the game in a good competitive spirit
- well done!

Brandon Lads U7 11 Feltwell Thundercats 1
Brandon Lads U7's welcomed
Feltwell Thundercats on a sunny Saturday morning in Brandon.
Within 5 minutes Brandon took
the lead with a well placed shot from Hayden Edgecombe to
make the score 1-0. Brandon continued to dominate the play
and were rewarded before half time with another 3 goals from
Lucas Kent (2) and Lewis O'Malley (1) to make the score 4-0
going into the break. In
the second half Brandon passed the ball around really well
and stretched the Feltwell defence and continued to pile on
the pressure. Lucas Kent scored again with a tenacious run
and Lewis O'Malley struck another good shot to take the
score along to 6-0. Tommy Young saw an excellent left foot
strike reach the back of the net and Hayden added another 3
super goals to take the Brandon tally to 10-0 with
5 minutes to go. Jack
Slater (captain) and Owen Horn played brilliantly at the
back and the Brandon keeper made a couple of good saves when
required. Feltwell were
rewarded with a well deserved penalty which was dispatched
with precision into the top corner. Feltwell were then
unlucky to concede a late own goal after Hayden Edgecombe
pressed forward into the final minutes. The game was played
in an excellent spirit and the final score was Brandon
Lads U7's 11 - Feltwell Thundercats 1

Brandon Lads U7 9 Morley 1
Brandon got off to a quick start
and within 2 minutes were 1-0 up with Hayden Edgecombe
firing home after a run at the Morley defence. Brandon were
on fire and continued to pressure the Morley players with
Jack Slater and Owen Horn ultra solid at the back and Lewis
O'Malley in goal for the first 10 minutes. Hayden
continued to hammer the ball home and had an absolutely
fantastic match scoring 6 in total. Lucas Kent scored 2 good
goals. Morley scored their only goal with a
penalty, this was converted well by Morley into the top
corner. Tommy Younge and
Lewis O'Malley battled hard in the midfield and Lewis was
rewarded when he fired home a nice shot past the Morley
keeper. The final score ended up 9-1 to Brandon but the game
was played in excellent spirit and all credit to an ever
improving young Morley side.
