Brandon Lads 2 Tilney 3
Brandon entertained Tilney in there last match of the season , as
usual Brandon started the better team keeping Tilney pinned in there
own half but Tilney broke down the wing and scored with there 1st
attack , Brandon carried on putting pressure on the Tilney defence
but to no avail. 2nd half saw Brandon fly out of the traps to score
an early goal with a simple tap in by Ryan Gallant, which came from
a shot by Joe Kean that was saved by Tilney's inform keeper .
Brandon then took the lead with a goal from Josh Vaccarro ,but
Tilney soon equalized with a wind assisted lob that only just beat
Brandon's keeper. with only seconds on the clock Tilney caught
Brandon's defence asleep and scored the winning goal final score
Brandon 2 Tilney 3. Brandon where very unlucky not to win as they
were far the better team, which was even confirmed by the Tilney
manager.

Lynn 2 Brandon Lads 3
Brandon made the trip to Kings Lynn to face East Lynn , Brandon knew
this would be a close game as both teams started the day on the same
points. Brandon started really well attacking down both wings and
through the middle and played some great passing football, but with
every attack Brandon couldn't hit the net whether it was the lack of
power in the shots or that East Lynn's keeper was in great form ,
the 1st half ended 0-0 . second half saw much of the same with
Brandon with much of the possession but were unfortunate to go
behind. Brandon were soon on the attack again and Joe Kean got his
1st goal of the season with a brave toe poke in the 6 yard box.
Brandon's 2nd came from an individual from Shep who had minutes
earlier saw one of his shots tipped over the bar. East Lynn then
capitalized on a defensive error to bring the scores level, but
Brandon were determined not to give up and with about 10 min on the
clock Chaz went on a terrific run to see his shot turned in by green
to give Brandon the win final score East Lynn 2 Brandon 3

Tilney 6 Brandon Lads 3
Brandon travelled to Tilney, Brandon started very slow and soon
found themselves behind . Brandon just couldn't get there game
together and saw themselves 6 yes 6 goals behind at half time
.during the break a few positions were changed and quite a few words
were spoken and Brandon came out a different team, within 30 secs
from the restart Brandon scored there 1st by green the 2nd followed
with another wonder strike from Ryan who volleyed home a 30 yarder.
the 3rd took its time but came from a well worked corner scored by
Vaccarro, Brandon played some quality football in this half it was
just a pity that they couldn't produce it in the 1st half. with only
2 games to play and one of them is tilney at home for the last game
of the season on the 2nd march this will should be a good game to
come and watch.

Snettisham 4 Brandon Lads 1
Brandon travelled to Snettisham to what turned
out to be a controversial game . Brandon started
the game at full pace and were playing some
superb football through the midfield and down
both wingers , both scooter and Ryan were giving
Snettisham defence a torrid time but Brandon
couldn't finish their chances in front of goal.
Brandon found themselves 1-0 down at half time,
second half saw much of the same with Brandon
with most of the possession then up stood matt
who hit a 25 yarder that almost broke the net.
Snettisham caught Brandon on the break and
should of scored but if it wasn't for jack who
made a terrific tackle to deny them there 2nd.
but the ref saw something that not even the
opposing team saw and gave a penalty for hand
ball. which Snettisham slotted home . with
Brandon's heads down and lacking confidence with
the man in the middle and getting "caught "
offside with every attack they soon found
themselves 4-1 down.

Reffley 3 Brandon Lads 1 (Subsidiary Cup)
Brandon travelled to Reffley for a cup game,
Brandon knew this was going to be a tough game
as Reffley are flying high in the first
division. Brandon started the game at full pace
and were taking the game to Reffley with some
great football being played through out the team
, and it was Brandon that took the lead when
Harrison s goal kick found matt who then
cleverly lobed the oncoming keeper . Reffley
then caught Brandon asleep by scoring within 30
secs of the restart. second half Brandon pushed
forward for the win but were unfortunate to
concede their second with some good football
played by Reffley, and soon followed up with
their third , with Brandon's determination not
to lose the game they were awarded a penalty but
the Reffley keeper made a terrific save to deny
Brandon's second. finial score 3-1 an excellent
display of football and sportsmanship by both
teams.

Brandon Lads 7 Litcham 4
Brandon entertained Litcham with the weather
being very windy we knew it was going to be a
tough game, Brandon played against the wind in
the first half which turned out to be an
advantage because every time Litcham played the
ball over the top their forwards couldn't get to
the ball. Brandon started to push the game down
the wings and with a great cross from Scooter,
Ryan popped up and scored with a simple tap in,
within 2 minutes Ryan then lofted the ball from
the left wing and managed to find the top right
of the net giving him his second . Brandon for
the first time in the game where caught out at
the back by the wind and Litcham capitalized on
this and scored their 1st . Brandon caused
Litcham defence some problems towards the end of
the half and were awarded a penalty which Ryan
stepped up to take but was unfortunate and hit
the crossbar. Brandon carried on with some good
football and scored their 3rd with a goal from
Matt .Litcham with only one minute to go scored
thanks to the windy conditions .
Second half Brandon had the wind behind them
and took full advantage of this with some
quality through passes seeing both forwards
hitting the back of the net 2 from Greeny and
another 2 from Matt giving him his hat trick.
Litcham scored a further 2 goals.

2008 Leverington Youth 2 Brandon Lads 2
Brandon travelled to Leverington which turned out to
be a great game. Brandon knew it was going to be
hard game as Leverington have been on the top of the
table for most of the season, but this didn't bother
Brandon as we took the lead in the first five
minutes with a goal from Matt. Leverington soon
equalized but it took a great volley to beat the our
keeper. Leverington kept the pressure on but
Brandon's defence dealt with them very well.
Leverington scored there second from a corner as
Brandon failed to clear there line. second half
Brandon played some quality football which they were
awarded with a spectacular 25 yard strike from Ryan
, probably the goal of the season so far. with the
score now equal Brandon were looking for the win and
were unlucky not to get it . an excellent
performance by the whole team.

humiliating.
Sun 2 Dec 2007 Brandon Lads 5 Downham Market 7
Brandon started the game brightly but where
unfortunate to concede a penalty in the first 5
minutes which Downham converted. This put Brandon
under pressure and soon conceded a second; Brandon
started to pile on the pressure on Downham’s defence
and were awarded with a corner which was headed home
by Matt. With Brandon now chasing the game we were
caught on the break and Downham scored 2 further
goals. Brandon now 3 goals behind pushed harder and
scored with a great chip from Matt. But Downham were
very good on the counter attack and went on to score
yet another goal just before half time. Brandon came
out for the second half a different team and soon
scored with a great team goal converted by Josh
Vaccarro, this got Brandon’s heads up and were soon
awarded with an individual goal from Matt giving him
his hat trick. Downham came back at us and scored a
further 2 goals, Brandon had most of the
possession but for all their hard work couldn’t find
the back of the net but did manage to hit the post
twice, but their hard work paid off with Ryan
Gallant scoring his first goal for the club, but
unfortunately this wasn’t enough if Brandon had
worked a bit harder in the first half it might have
been a different result.

Sun 28 Oct 2007 Stoke Ferry 0 Brandon Lads 10
Brandon travelled to stoke ferry to what turned
out to be one of the best performances Brandon
have ever played. from the moment we kicked off
Brandon looked as if they were going to score,
and it wasn't long before Brandon scored there
first. Brandon were playing some delicious
football from defence ,midfield and the forwards
all playing together as a team and were soon
hitting the back of the net, there was no
stopping them now, every time Brandon pushed
forward they looked like scoring , and most of
the time we did , half time the score was 7 - 0
to Brandon. second half saw stoke ferry coming
at Brandon more but our defence and goalkeeper
were solid and didn't let anything through them.
Brandon carried on from the first half with
some terrific football being played and were
soon awarded with there efforts with another
three goals .
