Sun 20 April 2008 Brandon Lasses 1 Waveney Girls 8
SGL Knock out cup final

After finishing runners up to Waveney in the league the Lasses new they would have a battle on their hands to overcome the league winners and despite a recent close league result between the clubs Waveney came out in top form taking an early lead. Perhaps if early chances had gone the Lasses way things could have been different. Credit to Waveney for some strong finishing.
Harriet Mills scored a consolation goal for the Lasses and although disappointed on the day another great season for the girls finishing Runners up in both League and cup

Fri 11 April 2008 St. Johns 1 Brandon Lasses 7

Having secured league runners up the previous week, lasses were able to relax.
Brandon raced into an early lead with a goal by Lily Reynolds, quickly followed by another by Kayleigh Nolan. Lasses went 3 up with a lobbed goal from Harriet Mills. The 1st half scoring came to a close with a Lily Reynolds header.
The 2nd half began with Reynolds getting her hat-trick, followed by a brace from Nadine Basson ,this brought her season tally so far to 79 goals. St johns scored a consolation goal right on full time. Player of the match Kayleigh Nolan.

Sun 6 April 2008 Brandon Lasses 4 Whitton Utd 2

Brandon clinched 2nd place in the league with this performance. Lasses raced into an early lead when Lily Reynolds followed up a shot which rebounded off the keeper. The same player followed up her own effort for number two.
Just before half time Brandon got their 3rd from a spectacular long shot from Rachel Lynch.
Brandon eased up a bit in the second half which allowed the visitors a breakaway goal. But Lilly Reynolds restored the three goal advantage with her hat-trick. Lasses lost Mariah Moules with what looked like a bad injury, Whitton capitalised on this with their 2nd goal on the final whistle.

Sun 30 March 2008 Brandon Lasses 30 (thirty) Bacton 0

A comfortable victory for the Lasses against a depleted Bacton side who travelled with a player less. Nadine Basson continued her superb scoring ratio for the season with 15, Kaleigh Nolan a well deserved double hat trick and Harriet Mills with a first half hat trick before taking over in goal for the second half. Credit to Bacton for keeping going and a much better second half performance but a clinical first half by Brandon had given them comfortable a half time 19-0 lead. The other goals scorers for Brandon Natasha Rutter 2, India Pople 2, Rachael Atherton & Sally Eastwood.

Sun 9 March 2008 SGL Knock Out Cup Semi Final
St. Johns 1 Brandon Lasses 4

Lasses were made to fight all the way, in this league cup semi-final. The game was much closer than the score suggested.
Brandon began well enough when Nadine Basson scored with a fine 20 yard drive. This fired St Johns into action and soon after they equalized after a defensive mix up .
Half time could not come quick enough for lasses, a slight re-shuffle at the break did the trick for Brandon and it wasn't long before Basson put Brandon back in front. Now the lasses had their tails up and at last started to play. Inevitably Basson went on to grab her hat-trick. before wrapping up the scoring with her fourth. A great 2nd half display by all of Brandon's players, but Basson's performance stood out as player of the match.

Sun 24 Feb 2008 Waveney Girls 2 Brandon Lasses 1

Lasses started as if they meant business and had Waveney on the back foot for long periods of the first half. They got their reward on 20 minutes when Lilly Reynolds got on the end of a long goal kick from Amber Browne. By half time Brandon could have doubled their lead but for the Waveney keeper.
The 2nd half started with Brandon holding strong in defence but Waveney were starting to build more and more attacks and inevitably the home side equalised with 15minutes left. Lasses defended doggedly but eventually Waveney's strength started to break Brandon's tiring rear guard and was cruel on them when the home side got the winner with 5 minutes left.

Sun 27 Jan 2008 Whitton Utd 1 Brandon Lasses 2 (K/O Cup 1/4 final)

With an injury weakened team, Brandon won a hard fought contest. Lasses made a bright start with an early goal from Nadine Basson. The defence had to hold out for much of the first half and eventually Whitton broke through, by half time Brandon had held out at 1-1. The second half began just as the first with an early Brandon goal, this time scored by Lilly Reynolds. Once again the home team came at the Lasses but the defence of Megan Norton, Natasha Rutter and Rachel Lynch were solid. Brandon mounted several attacks and from one of these Kayleigh Nolan hit the post. By the final whistle both teams were tiring due to the superb effort they had put in.

Gradually Whitton came back into the game and it wasn't long before they reduced Brandon's lead. Lilly Reynolds scored Brandon's fourth before a mix up in defence lead to Whitton scoring again. Sun 28 Oct 2007 Brandon Lasses 0 Waveney Girls 5
The first half of this fixture was closely fought with Waveney shading the possession and it was the visitors who came in with a two goal margin at the break. Brandon had to try and take the game to Waveney in the second half but the visitors took advantage adding another three.

Sun 7 Oct 2007 Copleston 0 Brandon Lasses 10

Brandon started this game a bit lacklustre. Gradually they gained momentum, and it wasn't long before Nadine Basson opened the scoring from close range. By half time Basson had made it 3-0 with her second and third goals. The 2nd half was one way, with Brandon adding goals at regular intervals. Nadine Basson took her personal tally to seven, player of the match Tash Rutter added two more, but the goal of the game belonged to India Pople, who started  a move in her own half and finished it after a fine solo run.

Sun 30 Oct 2007 Brandon Lasses 28 Acton Youth 0

Brandon Lasses under 13 finally got their season of to a good start with a comprehensive victory against Acton Youth, as the score would suggest this was a very one sided match but credit must go to the visitors for a spirited display.
The Lasses must still take credit for a superb performance who's finishing got better as the game progressed. The goals came from Nadine Basson 10, Elizabeth Reynolds 8, Kayleigh Nolan 4 debutants Rachel Atherton scoring a fine hat trick and Tash Rutter also scoring on her debut, the other goals coming from Harriet Mills and POM Sally Eastwood scoring the pick of the goals.
