Brandon now had complete control of the game and with all 14 boys involved giving 110% there was no surprise that Kemp would get his hat trick after some good football in midfield, Kemp was set free to powerfully shoot home and get his second hat trick of the week. Brandon played some great football at times with the outstanding Jake Bogle in midfield and the hat trick hero up front. Jordan Kemp Man of the Match

Brandon Lads U13 10 v 1 Moreton Hall U13
Brandon had there first evening game of the season against Moreton Hall. Brandon started well and grabbed 3 quick goals, 2 from Jack Slaughter & 1 from Jordan Kemp, before Moreton Hall got one back from a free kick which seemed to remind Brandon they were still in a game, Brandon responded by scoring 2 more before the break from Kemp completing a first half hatrick. It was much of the same in the second half with Brandon playing good strong passing football and soon increasing there lead with goals from Kane Philpot, Jordan Harry, Muzza Burt and 2 from Lewis Stevenson to run away winners 10-1. Moreton Hall was kept at bay by a good solid Brandon defence and some great saves by Jack Field in the Brandon goal. This performance wasn’t just about the goal scorers there were 9 other players that all played a big part in a great team performance. An outstanding performance from Lewis Stevenson and a great hatrick from Jordan Kemp but Man of the Match Danny Baker great skills

Brandon Lads U13 3 v 0 Stowmarket Town Youth B
Brandon came up against Stow Town for the second time in a week and after losing the first encounter Brandon looked to get their revenge. The first half was a well fort battle with Brandon looking strong at the back and playing some good football in midfield but failing to threaten the Stow goal. The second half saw the impressive Lewis Stevenson move into midfield and linking well with Isaac Allen who was Brandon’s biggest threat in attack, however Brandon’s first goal came after a great ball from Kane Philpot, split the Stow defence and it was Danny Baker who out smarted the keeper to take the lead. The second was soon to follow for a great corner from Allen, which was met with a fantastic header from Muzza Burt. Brandon were now in complete control of the game and got there third after good work from Ryan Hewitt who latched on to a loose ball, his first shot rebounded off the keeper straight back at him for a simple tap in. This was another solid performance with every player playing his part.Man of the Match Jordan Scott Superb defending.

Sunday 18th April 2010Brandon Lads U13 0 v 2 Thetford Independent U13Brandon had there second game of the weekend and came up against a strong Indies team, Brandon started well in this hard fought match but it was Indies that found a way through to take a first half lead, the second half was much the same with Indies scoring there second with a great strike from distance to win this local derby.MoM Charlie Power Hard working performance.

Saturday 17th April 2010Stowmarket Town Youth B 3 v 1 Brandon Lads U13   Brandon travelled to Stowmarket for a Saturday lunchtime kick off and took the lead after good work from Charlie Power who scored the opener. Brandon Lads U13 1 v 3 Bury Town B U13
Top of the table Bury Town B visited Brandon and the game didn’t disappoint. From the start both teams gave there all in this end to end battle, but it was Bury who took the lead from a free kick on the edge of the box, from the restart Brandon had an immediate response with some great passing which saw Charlie Power place the ball in the back of the net to level the match, and then just before the break Bury scored there second from a tight angle. The second half saw much of the same with Brandon and Bury both playing some great football, Bury did score their third and Brandon had a goal disallowed this was a great game of football to watch with all the Brandon players all giving 100% and although beaten can hold there heads high with this brilliant performance. MoM Lewis Stevenson Outstanding at the back.

Sunday 28th March 2010
Elmswell Youth A U13 2 v 1 Brandon Lads U13
Brandon came up against a strong Elmswell team on a very windy afternoon and soon found themselves under pressure, but as normal Brandon defence and goalkeeper stayed strong and in doing so Brandon’s midfield started to take a hold on the game, and with the threat of Brandon’s quick strike force they always had a chance of a goal on the break which was nearly the case when Jordan Kemp was put through but his long range shot hit the post to end the half all square. The second half become a battle of the midfield, and a great save from Jack Field. However it was Elmswell that got the opener when a crossed ball curled in the wind and went in at the far post, Brandon then started taking the game to Elmswell and soon got there reward when Harry Rampley delivered another great corner and Muzza Burt rose to head home and square the game, just when it looked like the game was heading for a draw Elmswell were awarded a free kick which when taken hit the back of a Brandon defender and deflected to a Elmswell striker to scramble home for the winner. This was another good performance by Brandon who deserved something from the game.
Mom Muzza Burt brilliant in defence and midfield.

Sunday 14th March 2010
Needham Market Phoenix U13 2 v 3 Brandon Lads U13
Brandon made the trip to Needham Phoenix to play them for the second time in a week, Brandon started well and soon put pressure on the Needham goal bringing a string of brilliant saves from the Needham keeper. Brandon were playing some great football and took the lead after a quick Brandon throw in found Lewis Norton who turned and struck a brilliant strike into the corner of the net. In the second half Brandon found themselves under pressure from the kick off and Needham soon grabbed two goals to take the lead but Brandon had a good team spirit and never say never attitude about them and took the game to Needham. Brandon had now turned the game around and had the Needham goal under attack, Isaac Allen worked tirelessly on the right wing he thought he had an equaliser with a superb strike from 30 yards out which hit the back of the net only to disallowed, however Brandon did draw level after another brilliant corner from Harry Rampley saw Jordan Harry make a late run into the box and powerfully head home, Brandon were now looking for the winner which soon came from another throw in from Rampley who found Norton again who’s shot was deflected for Charlie Power to calmly place the ball in the back of the net. For Brandon to take a deserved 2-3 lead but from the kick off Needham made one last attack and were through with the keeper to beat but as always Jack Field raced off his line to close the attack down and bravely took the ball from the feet of the attacker to bring the 3 points back to Brandon. Although I mention the above players, this was a massive team performance and every player played their part! Well done to you all.

MoM Lewis Norton a brilliant performance.

Sunday 7th March 2010
Brandon Lads 2  Needham Market Phoenix 3
Brandon had a home game against Needham Phoenix, Needham started well but Brandon dealt with the early pressure and looked dangerous on the break with the pace of Harry Rampley & Isaac Allen. Brandon settled into the game and started to pass the ball well and took the lead when Lewis Norton lobbed the keeper after some good work in the box. Brandon soon made it two after great work from Allen on the right, cutting inside to drive the ball home, Needham got a goal back before the break. The second half was end-to-end football with chances at either end but it was Needham that got the equalizer and then went on to get the winner with a scrambled effort that Brandon failed to clear. This was another improving performance from Brandon against a top of the table team.
MoM Lewis Stevenson outstanding in defence.

Sunday 28th Feb. 2010
Brandon Lads 3  Cornard Dynamos 2
Brandon had a home against Cornard Dynamos on a Very cold wet windy Sunday with a lunchtime kick off. Brandon started well and had the early possession but failed to take there chances, hitting the post, grazing the crossbar and shooting just wide it should have only been a matter of time before Brandon scored, However it was Cornard that took the lead on a rare attack they crossed a ball into the box which Brandon failed to clear and Cornard took advantage. From the restart it was all Brandon attacking and soon they were level after Muzza Burt played a ball through to Harry Rampley who took one touch and then placed the ball in the corner of the net.In the second half it was much of the same as the first half as the Brandon defence stayed strong when under attack and Brandon midfield & strikers always looking threatening in attack with some great work from Isaac Allen on the right. Brandon scored their second from a long throw which was controlled well by Kane Philpot who set up Rampley for his second, Brandon’s third was from Allen who made a great run down the right and struck a brilliant goal from a tight angel. Brandon controlled the game for long spells but Cornard did manage to grab a late goal to finish the game 3-2. This was a solid team performance in difficult conditions. Man of the Match Harry Rampley two goals, great runs always a threat.

Sunday 14th Feb 2010
Moreton Hall 1 Brandon Lads 4
Brandon made the short trip to play Moreton Hall which on paper looked a tight game and with Brandon having only 11 fit or available players they knew it would be hard work. Moreton hall didn’t disappoint they came at Brandon from the start putting pressure on a solid Brandon defence of Harry, Stevenson, Scott & Philpot and if and when the defence were beaten Brandon had the superb Jack Field in goal. Brandon soon got a grip on the game with the midfield of Burt, Allen, Rampley, Kostecki & Bogle and the lone striker of Kemp work tirelessly up front. Brandon took the lead with a wonder goal from Burt who struck a perfect half volley from 30yrds, Brandon soon got there next from a corner brilliantly delivered by Rampley to the far post and met with a brave header by Kostecki, Brandon were now in full flow and camped in the Moreton hall half with Allen threatening the Moreton hall defence with great work on the right, the next goal was soon to come from a great ball from Burt to put Rampley clear though to place the ball in the corner of the net, Brandon then switched off and Moreton hall soon took advantage grabbing a scrambled goal late on in the first half. The second half began with Moreton hall on the attack but Brandon always looked threatening on the break with Rampley now on the left he broke through to score his second goal from a tight angle, Brandon then continued to dominate the game and run out winners. Match of the Man Jordan Harry,Strong,Vocal and half of a class partnership in defence.

Sunday 7th Feb 2010
Thurston U13 3-2 Brandon Lads U13
Brandon made the trip to play a well organised Thurston and it was Thurston that start the brighter but Brandon always looked safe with a great back four of Burt, Harry,Stevenson and Scott and the superb Jack Field in goal. It was Brandon's midfield that were starting to win the battle and Brandon were getting themselves on top however Thurston always looked dangerous on the break and that's what happened for Thurston to take the lead with a long range effort this dented Brandon's confidence and Thurston took advantage scoring there second before half time. Brandon started the second half well and soon piled the pressure on the Thurston defence with Jordan Harry playing impressively in the centre midfield role, Brandon forced a corner which was superbly put in by Rampley and was meet by Allen how laid the ball into the path of Power who coolly put the ball in the back of the net. Now Brandon were controlling the game when Rampley played a perfect ball though to Norton who was though on goal only to be brought down by the Thurston defened and Brandon were awarded the penalty which saw Brandon's Captain Isaac Allen coolly step up and place the ball in the net, it was now all square and Brandon looking the better side, however Thurston were still a threat on the break and with Brandon pushing for the winner Thurston broke and scored there third, Thurston were awarded a penalty late on which was well saved by field. This was another good all-round display of football from Brandon who are now getting used to the higher standard of football in this league. Well done boy's a Team performance.
Man of the Match Muzza Burt Brilliant at right back and outstanding at centre back

Sunday 17th Jan. 2010
Brandon 2  Stowupland Falcons 2
(Stowupland win on penalties
1v3)
This was Brandon’s first game of the new year and they were up against a strong Stowupland team in the Open cup, Brandon got off to a good start with the midfield controlling the game and when Stowupland did get through, the Brandon defence and Keeper were always too strong reducing Stowupland to long range efforts however it was one of those long range shots that nearly saw the opening goal. Stowupland hit the underside of the bar but the brilliant defending of Lewis Stevenson getting back to clear off the line. Brandon were still playing good football and it was after great work by Sean Hills on the left that Brandon took the lead, he got the ball on the wing cut inside and coolly slotted the ball home. The second half started with Stowupland bringing the game to Brandon and soon saw them get their reward with a well-taken goal taking the game into extra time. It was Stowupland that were getting the better of Brandon now and the lack of football was starting to show in the Brandon camp, Stowupland won a corner Brandon failed to clear their box and Stowupland slotted home to take the advantage, This seemed to give Brandon a new lease of life and it was Harry Rampley that put a brilliant cross into the box which saw the Stowupland defender head into his own net. Final score 2-2 so down to penalties it went which Brandon lost 1-3. This was a good performance all the Brandon players played well but Man of the Match goes to the outstanding Lewis Stevenson a great defensive performance.

 Sunday 13th Dec. 2009
Brandon Lads 0  Woodbridge 8

Brandon met a strong Woodbridge Sunday alliance league team in the quarterfinals of the Suffolk FA Tesco’s Cup. This was always going to be Brandon’s hardest challenge to date and Woodbridge didn’t disappoint with a great display of passing football, however to there credit Brandon battled well and never let Woodbridge rest. Brandon ended the half 0-3 but had played much better than the score line suggests with a good team performance but also some great individual performance’s from Field, Stevenson’s, Norton, Burt, Rampley, Allen & Kemp. The best move of the half saw Rampley put a great ball through for Kemp to shoot just wide. The second half saw Brandon carrying on in the same manner but as Woodbridge grabbed a couple more goals Brandon’s heads dropped and they started to tire and Woodbridge run out winners 0-8. Man of the Match Lewis Stevenson Great Defending.

Sunday 6th Dec. 2009
Bury Town B 6  Brandon Lads 0

Brandon made the short trip to table toppers Bury town on a difficult Sunday morning, after the sad loss of team coach Martin Chappell. Brandon knew they were in for a hard game but started well led by team captain Sam Chappell, who showed all the great battling and passion for football that Martin would have been proud of.It was Bury that took the lead midway through the first half, but it was Brandon who were unsettling Bury with determination from every player. Brandon’s defence of Power, Stevenson, Allen, Norton and Scott held tight and with great goalkeeping from Jack Field Brandon looked solid, however Bury managed to grab another goal on the stroke of half time to lead 2-0 at the break. In the second half Brandon looked to create chances with Burt, Chappell, Hills, Bogle and Rampley all working hard in midfield to find the opening for Kemp who worked none stop up front on his own, but with Brandon attacking Bury were dangerous on the counter attack and soon found the Brandon goal four more times to run out the winners. This was still a good Brandon performance and with Kostecki and Slaughter both coming on and playing well, things can only get better. Man of the match Jack Field Outstanding.  Boy’s this was a hard day for us all but I know Martin would be very proud of you all today. Well done even in defeat.

Sunday 29th Nov 2009
Brandon Lads 4  Thetford Bulldogs 0
Brandon had a local derby in the Open Cup against Bulldogs, Brandon started well playing good passing football but Bulldogs always looked dangerous on the break, however it was Brandon that got the break through after great work from Sean Hills on the left wing put Jordan Kemp in to slot the ball home. Brandon were soon on the attack again and this time saw a great solo run by Kemp who smashed the ball into the net from a tight angle, Brandon leading by 2 at half time. The second half saw Bulldogs attacking the Brandon goal for longer spells but the Brandon defence and midfield stayed tight, it was Brandon who got themselves back on top and after good midfield from Muzza Burt who released Isaac Allen on the right to play a brilliant ball on to the head of kemp who headed home for his hat trick. From the restart Brandon were on the attack again this time it was great work from Harry Rampley who played a defence splitting ball through to Allen, who again delivered a perfect ball to Kemp who was happy to head home for his fourth of the day. This was a great team performance from every player. Man of the Match Jordan Kemp, 4 well taken goals well done.

Sunday 22nd Nov. 2009
Brandon Lads 0  Elmswell 10

Brandon had a lunchtime kick off against a well-organised Elmswell. In strong winds and heavy rain Elmswell took an early lead. Brandon battled well and came off at half time slightly the better side.
However the second half saw Brandon start well but it was Elmswell that again took the advantage scoring there second, Brandon continued to battle but it wasn’t happening for them and Elmswell kept playing some good football to run away winners.
Man of the match Jack Field a number of great saves

Sunday 8th Nov 2009
Waveney Youth 'B' 1  Brandon Lads 3
Brandon made the long journey to Lowestoft to play Waveney in the Tesco Suffolk FA Cup. Brandon started well but it was clear Waveney were not about to give them an easy game. Brandon looked good on the attack but so did Waveney, however when Waveney did break through the Brandon defence it was the impressive Jack Field playing in goal that saved Brandon with a string of fantastic saves. It was Waveney that scored first from a corner which Brandon failed to clear.  This was still an evenly fought contest and Brandon were awarded a free kick which was taken by Harry Rampley who placed the ball in the box for Isaac Allen to head home and make it all level at the break. In the second half it was much of the same end to end football, Brandon did get the breakthrough when Rampley put a cross into the box which the Waveney defence tried to head clear only for the ball to come to Allen who struck the ball first time into the top corner. Waveney were all out attack now but Brandon stayed solid at the back with Jordan Scott playing some of his best football and Lewis Stevenson controlling the back four and with Field being unbeatable Brandon looked to have the game wrapped up until some how the ball found it’s way through but Lewis Norton was there to clear off the line. Brandon had the final say when good work between Rampley and the hard working Daniel Baker saw Baker free on the wing to cross a brilliant ball into the Waveney goalmouth and Jack Slaughter stabbed the ball home. This was another great all-round Brandon performance with all 13 boys playing there part however
Man of the Match Jack Field was outstanding and at times kept Brandon in the game. Well Done Boy’s.

Sunday 1st November 2009
Achilles 2 Brandon 3
Brandon had an early kick off at a very cold wet & windy Achilles. Brandon started well and played much the better football but could not find the back of the net in the first half , the second half started  much the same way but it was Achilles who took the lead , Brandon’s response was just what you expected them to do after some neat football between Jordan Kemp and Harry Rampley  Kemp coolly slotted home then Achilles  won a free kick  which was half cleared by Brandon only for Achilles to bundle over the line. Brandon still looked the better team with there players playing some great football, then the Achilles keeper cleared  his box, the ball fell to Lewis Norton who took the ball on and shot home to level the scores. Brandon were again on the attack looking for the winner and it was soon to come with some good football from Rampley and Kemp, with Kemp squaring a brilliant ball across the box for the hard working Brandon captain Isaac Allen to score Brandon’s third to round off a great performance. The whole Brandon team were brilliant in every part of the pitch in very difficult conditions. Brandon Lads 0  Thurston 4
On a windy Sunday lunch time Brandon came up against a well organized Thurston.
Brandon lost the toss and played into the wind and although they were working hard it was Thurston who were on top and soon found the back of the net. The normally strong Brandon defence were being caught too often by the ball moving in the wind . Brandon never dropped their heads and kept battling with the impressive Muzza Burt winning the midfield battle, how ever with wind on there side and Thurston playing well Brandon found themselves 4 goals down at the break with the best chance of the half falling to Harry Rampley who headed wide after great work by Jordan Kemp . Brandon started the second half well and now had their tails up and wind behind them but just could not find the net . The second half was a much better performance by Brandon and a great battling performance by Daniel Baker. Man of the Match Muzza Burt.

Sunday 18th Oct. 2009
Woodbridge Town U13's 3 Brandon Lads U13's 2

Brandon visited table toppers Woodbridge and started well. Brandon having a large amount of the possession in midfield and soon got the opening goal from Lewis Norton, only to be ruled offside? The Brandon teamwork kept them in the drivers seat and when Woodbridge attacked it was the impressive Brandon defence of Power, Harry, Stevenson and Scott that came out winners, but Brandon needed to find a way through a tight Woodbridge defence, this was a great performance from both side's, however it was Woodbridge who got the first goal, after a great save from Jack field but Woodbridge scored from the rebound and then went on to score there second before half time. The second half was an evenly fort contest, for a long time it looked much like stale mate, however Isaac Allen opened up the Woodbridge defence with some great footwork and cooly slotted Brandons first goal home, from the restart Brandon were straight back on the attack with the impressive Jordan Kemp who played a defence spilting pass into Harry Rampley to fire home to pull Brandon back level. Brandon had there tails up now and believed it was theres to win and with Rampley putting in some superb crosses and the threat of Kemp upfront it looked like Brandon would have the final word however this is football and within seconds the ball broke loose for Woodbridge to attack and grab a late winner. Brandon again can be proud of there performance even in defeat with all 14 players giving a 100% when called upon.  Man of the Match Charlie Power.

Sunday 11th Oct. 2009
Brandon U13 5 v 2 Needham Market Phoenix
Brandon started much the better team and dominated the play. Brandon midfield controlled the game and with Jordan Kemp & Harry Rampley up front and Isaac Allen on the wing Brandon always looked likley to score first. Brandon took the lead after 10 minutes when Kemp played a ball through to Rampley spliting the Needham defence for Rampley to slot home, Brandon never let up and there second came soon after when Allen won the ball out from the Needham keeper and put Kemp through who rounded the keeper to shoot the ball home. Brandons 3rd was from a corner after some great wing play by Allen, Rampley delivered a ball to the far post for Kemp to tap in. Brandons 4th was another great corner from Rampley this time it was Jordan Harry bravely heading home at the far post, Brandon were in control playing some of the best football of the season so far, however Needham were still battling and managed to get a goal back just before the break. Needham came out fighting in the second half and it took some great goal keeping from Jack Field and his brillant defenders to keep Needham at bay. Brandon got themselves back into attack mode and started looking too strong for the Needham defence. Brandon saved the  best to last with some great football being played between Daniel Baker and Rampley to set Kemp up for his hatrick.
