Re-arranged fixtures

There are two re-arranged fixtures for our squads.  These are:

  • Brandon Lasses U11 -  The Mulbarton Belles have requested the venues for their matches are reversed, so 31st October now sees the Brandon Lasses at home to the Belles.  Then the squad travels away next year on 27th February, for the return fixture at Mulbarton.
  • Brandon Lads U13 - Needham Phoenix have kindly agreed to switch venues for their league fixtures against the Under 13 squad.  So now 20th December becomes the away fixture at Needham and the home fixture is switched to 7th March.
This will mean that EIGHT of our squads will be playing at home on Sunday March 7th 2010.  A source close to the Club has suggested that talks are underway to designate that day as Brandon's "Festival of Football", with food, fun and games planned.  Keep tuned to this website in the coming weeks for further details!

Are you a girl interested in playing football?  Aged six, seven or eight years old?  Never played before?  Only played a little bit and don't know where to get decent coaching?  Then the Brandon Lasses have the answer for you!

Brandon Lasses Girls' Friday Soccer Club

Roger Field has more than seven years experience of coaching girls football and is keen to hear from girls who are wanting to play the game and are a bit too young to play for a team.  Speaking about his 'Friday Soccer Club' he said, "We are going to start the under 7/8 Lasses coaching on the Friday, 4th of September, 5.30pm - 6.30pm.  We have moved to a Friday so as not clash with other clubs, and so look to increase our numbers and also to free up the weekend ... already there is more interest and so we might be able to arrange some fixtures with the boys teams or other girls squads if we can find some for that age range."
