Lasses KO Cup fixtures

The draw has taken place for the Suffolk Girls & Womens Football League Knock Out Cups.  The Under 12 Lasses will play a home fixture against Copleston SC while the rest of their league has a bye to the next round.  Little Oakley will visit Brandon when the Under 15 Lasses host them in December.  Full details ...

Tesco Suffolk FA U13 Boys Cup, Rnd 2

Following the U13 Lads winning their first round Tesco Suffolk FA Cup tie against Needham yesterday their next opponents have been confirmed as being Waveney Youth 'B', following their win against Honington Foxes.  Details of fixture ...

This weekend's results ...

First up, the U13 Lads showed they had the X-Factor after winning their Tesco Cup tie, while the U16 Lads get my vote for pulling a draw out of the hat with only ten men on the pitch.  The U15 Lads were eliminated from the next round of their Tesco Cup tie, though the U15 Lasses gave a flawless performance to get themselves three points and the U9 Lads were also 'hitting the right notes' for their win.  However the Ladies came up against league front runners, Ipswich and were not 'singing from the same hymn sheet.'  The U12 Lads had their match called off following a no-show from their opponents and so the SNYFL will now have to judge what happens next!  Two Lasses squads, the U11 & U12, also didn't get to perform in front of a crowd this weekend after their fixtures were called off in advance.

The Under 11 Lads squad is very pleased to announce the sponsorship of their hoodies by Mr G's Bowling.  Here the squad are pictured with their hoodies and with sponsor Mr Nolan Guthrie, owner of Mr G's Bowling and with squad manager Steve (Will) Farthing. 

The Under 16 Lads squad recently got together for their squad photo.  Last season's Ipswich & Suffolk Youth Football League Champions are looking to have another good season under manager Martyn Hewkin and his assistant Kevin Hewitt.  The squad and their coaches are pictured left and are very grateful to Topps Tiles for their generous sponsorship.
